Pagato has pay-as-you-go pricing. You only pay for shifts filled successfully and you choose the pay you offer to the workers.

What is the vetting process for workers using Pagato?
We conduct a thorough vetting process for all on-demand workers, which may include background checks, skill assessments, and reference checks to ensure their qualifications and reliability.
How are payments processed for the temporary workers?
Payments are processed through the Pagato platform, with secure and efficient transactions. Workers can set up their preferred payment methods to receive timely payouts for their services.
Can I review the ratings and feedback of workers before hiring?
Yes, businesses can access the ratings and feedback provided by other employers to make informed decisions when selecting on-demand workers. We also offer a Pagato Score, which is an algorithm-based score that takes into account shifts filled, tardiness, reliability, etc.
Can I select a specific employee for my posted shift?
Yes, you have the flexibility to choose how you want to select an employee for your posted shift.
You can either manually select a specific employee from the pool of applicants who have expressed interest in the job.

Alternatively, if you prefer a quicker and more automated approach, you can turn on the auto-approval feature. With auto approval enabled, the first person who applies and meets your job requirements will be assigned to the job.
Can I hire a temporary worker from Pagato for a full-time position?
Absolutely! Businesses can potentially hire temporary workers from Pagato for full-time positions. We currently offer this at no cost. Our workers are not under any non-compete agreements.

We solely require you to inform your account manager that this worker has been hired to a full time position.
What kind of jobs and industries are currently offered on Pagato?
Pagato accommodates various job postings across different industries, such as retail, hospitality, manufacturing, distribution, events, and more. You can find on-demand workers for positions including servers, cashiers, warehouse staff, clerks, and more.

What is the cancellation policy if a shift needs to be canceled at the last minute?
We understand plans change, and demand shifts. Our platform offers no cancellation fees to businesses, as long as the shift is cancelled more then 24 hours ahead of the time the shift was supposed to begin. The specific details of the policy can be found in our terms of service.

How can I start finding jobs on Pagato?
Simply download our free app here. You will be able to view what jobs are available in your area. Complete your profile and connect your bank account to begin applying for jobs.
How does payment work?
Pagato prioritizes efficient and reliable payment processing. Payout times are standard and may take between 1 to 3 business days. This system is designed to ensure that all workers receive their earnings in a timely manner, reflecting our commitment to a trustworthy and seamless transaction process.

Do I need job experience to apply?
No, we do not require past job experience to be able to apply for jobs on the platform.
However, we highly suggest uploading all possible skills, volunteer positions, or any possible past experiences that would make your profile stand out to businesses.
Do I become an employee of Agence Pagato Inc. ?
No, you are considered a self-employed individual and work on a contract basis per shift given to you by businesses on the platform.

How do I create a standout profile to attract businesses?
Creating a standout profile on Pagato involves several key steps.

1. Complete all account creation questions.
2. Provide in detail your past work experience and skills.
3. Upload your up to date resume and any relevant certifications.
4. Maintain a quality Pagato Score on your profile by being courteous, on-time, respecting the dress code of establishments and not cancelling confirmed shifts.

A profile enriched with this information and positive history becomes a magnet for new opportunities on Pagato.

What happens with last-minute changes & cancellations?
In case of last-minute changes or issues, you may cancel your shift up to 24 hours before the start time of the shift with no penalty.

We have a strict no-show and last-minute cancellation policy and have no tolerance for unreliability. Such actions may lead to the suspension of your account, as well as have a drastic impact on your profile and Pagato Score.

How are we rated on the platform?
Our algorithm will define your Pagato Score, which is a comprehensive assessment of your overall performance on the platform.

Employers are encouraged to rate workers on several key aspects, including the match to job requirements, likeliness to hire again, communication skills, and punctuality.

In addition to the businesses' ratings, your Pagato score will be automatically adjusted based on your
reliability as a worker, tardiness, and cancellations.
How does Pagato ensure my safety & security on the job?
Pagato takes safety seriously and provides guidelines and support to ensure the well-being of temporary workers during their assignments.

We offers a support system to help resolve any concerns or disputes between temporary workers and employers, with the support team available for mediation. If you need help mediating a concern with a business you have worked with, please contact us.
Do I need to pay taxes as a temporary worker?
Yes, you do. Pagato provides resources and guidance to assist temporary workers in managing their taxes and financial matters associated with temporary work.
